Grand Teton Climbing 7.11.09 - 7.14.09
Father and son team up to climb the Grand Teton through Jackson Hole Mountain Guides with Jed. Pictured here is Ryan on the training day at 11,000 ft under the Grand Teton massif with the Red Sentinel in the background. Also pictured here is the summit photo [13,770 ft] which was cut short due to deteriorating weather on the summit. A 60 second summit rest was all we had to take a few photos, enjoy the view, and then escape to safer terrain. Chris and Ryan had never climbed before this trip, but they had the psychology and physical fitness necessary to overcome huge obstacles.
88 Mile climbing
Last year Jed established Spray Gun with Kirsten at 88 Mile Crag in Alaska. Check out the photos. This year Arctic Caveman..photos to come.

Small wind turbine errected
400 W wind generator was installed yesterday. Allie climbed a tree just above the wood shed. She topped the tree and installed the anchor. Jed then installed the generator and associated components.
Installation was easy because the winds were calm. Now we sit and wait for the winds to arrive.
